Data subjected to Nearest Neighbor AOV, adjusted means reported.
Establishment: Seeded with a Hege 3-point hitch drill with presswheels at 16 lb/a.
Eptam was applied PPI at 2qt/a. 3 ton/a of lime applied fall 2000 prior to seeding.
Plot size: 5' x 25', 25' alleys and borders. RCBD with four reps.
Soil type and analysis: Hoytville silty clay, pH=6.4, P=76 lb/a, K=300 lb/a, CEC= 18, O.M.=2.8 (10/03)
2004 Fertilization: No fertilization required.
2004 Pest control: Insecticide was apllied on 8-July and 17-August for potato leafhopper control. Herbicide was applied on 21-May and 16-July for weed control.
