Establishment:Seeded with a Hege 3-point hitch drill with presswheels at 16 lb/a. Eptam applied PPI at 2qt/a. 3 ton/a of lime applied fall 2000 prior to seeding.
Plot size:5' x 25', 25' alleys and borders. RCBD with four reps.
Soil type and analysis: Hoytville silty clay, pH=6.9, P=61 lb/a, K=376 lb/a, CEC= 17, O.M.=3.3 (10/03).
2004 Fertilization:No fertilization was required.
2004 Pest control: Insecticide was apllied on 21-June, 24-July and 1-August for potato leafhopper control.
