Data subjected to Nearest Neighbor AOV, adjusted means reported.
Establishment:Seeded with a Hege 3-point hitch drill with presswheels at 16 lb/a. Eptam applied PPI at 2qt/a. 3 ton/a of lime applied fall 2000 prior to seeding.
Plot size:5' x 25', 25' alleys and borders. RCBD with four reps.
Soil type and analysis:Hoytville silty clay, pH=6.3, P=79 lb/a, K=330 lb/a, CEC= 20, O.M.=3.3 (8/01).
2001 Fertilization:100 lb/a of 0-46-0 and 150 lb/a of 0-0-60 applied prior to seeding. 300 lb/a of 0-0-60 fall applied.
2001 Pest control: Insecticide applied 15-June and 2-August for potato leafhopper control.
