Establishment:Seeded with a Hege 3-point hitch drill with presswheels at 16 lb/a. .
Plot size:3' x 20', 10' alleys and borders. RCBD with four reps.
Soil type and analysis:Monogahela silt loam, pH = 6.8, P = 100 lb/a,K = 366 lb/a, CEC = 9 (11/00).
2001 Fertilization:No fertilization required in reference to the soil analysis.
2001 Pest control:No insecticide applied.
